It’s time to put your solar system in place once you’ve made the exciting decision to go solar. Take a look at the checklist below to get a sense of what to expect.

1st, Sign your solar agreement

Your local USSolartec will provide you with a presentation that includes your pricing, estimated savings, and other essential information. We will contact you within a few days after signing your sales contract to set up a home site examination.

2nd Site inspection

Your USSolartec installation professionals will inspect your roof and, obtain the information needed to complete the design of your home solar system.

3rd Evaluation of the design

You will receive a design layout to examine and approve following the site assessment. Your USSolartec installation contractor will build your system according to these specs, so read them thoroughly before signing off.

4th Obtaining licenses

The installation contractor will get the necessary building permits from your local government after the design for your solar system has been approved. Depending on the jurisdiction’s permitting process, this might take a few weeks.

5th Installation

Your installation contractor will call you once they have the required permits to schedule an installation time and, inform you of what to expect during the installation process.

6th Inspection

Once the installation is completed, your installation contractor will schedule any required inspections with your local government and/or utility provider. Within a week following installation, these checks are usually performed. Following the completion of the inspections, your utility provider should give Permission to Operate (PTO).

7th System activation

Your system is ready to be turned on after your utility provider has given the OK to operate. Your installation contractor will guide you through the solar system. Using the Enphase app, keep an eye on your complete solar system in real-time from anywhere. Know what your panels are producing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Are you a member of a homeowners’ association (HOA)? Your USSolartec Dealer will assist you in preparing the paperwork required for approval.
